Having embraced online SDR in a big way over the last few months, I like to keep an eye on any new radio feeds being put up. It takes a bit of time to go through all that’s available, but even though a vast majority are still ham radio based, now and then you’ll find something like the Czech airband offerings over at sdr.hkfree.org

Covering good sized chunks of the spectrum at 118, 121, 132 and 135 MHz, there’s also a few handy frequencies bookmarked for the local airports.

Located just outside the city of Kralove, it gives plenty of scope for airband DX transmissions over a wider area than the stations currently listed in the bookmarks.

I will be spending some time on the feed over the coming week to see what else I can receive from this location.
